The aircraft which is currently undergoing restoration at Speke is the actual aircraft in which I flew all those years ago. I did the return journey in the same aircraft twice! There are three other Brittanias and one nose section in museums around the country.
I would concur that this was the era which saw the high point of UK home grown rocket technology. It is such a shame that meddling governments saw fit to destroy it.</description>
