On Tuesday 6th July, twenty-odd club members and friends convened at Upton House for a ‘spooky’ conducted tour with Alan Cook. We were taken around the cellars where we saw quite a lot of photogenic subjects – including a harmonium - in various stages of decay and a row of modern and decidedly non-spooky but distinctly photogenic push bikes. Brian, where were you? The view from the roof was also featured. The visit concluded with tea and biscuits and the option to wander around the surrounding parkland that was bathed in superb evening light and populated by trees, children at play and adults walking their dogs. Thanks Eric, we enjoyed the evening!
