From the many visitors that talked to me, their impression was of a high quality event that they always support and look forward to. They admire the club for putting on such a professional exhibition, whilst at the same time giving the impression that it is a relaxed enjoyable event.

We all know that we are like a swan …………… gliding serenely across the surface, yet unseen, the feet are working like crazy under the water. But if that makes for an event that people enjoy and other Camera Cubs admire, then we must be doing pretty well.

To have the Judge and the Mayor to present the various prizes and awards was a bonus, especially as the Mayor was a very last minute opportunity that we couldn’t resist.

In short, it all went very well, which was a just result for all of the planning and hard work that went into the exhibition. I have no doubt that the planning has already started for next year, but let us take this small window of opportunity to smile and reflect on a job well done.
