Exmoor …..the real TRUTH

We live in a beautiful county and would have to go miles and miles to the Lake District, or Scotland, to find anything different but comparable to marvel at. WRONG.
Travel a little over 80 miles, taking about 2 hours thirty minutes, a little less if you can’t wait and you will find yourself in a National Park small enough to reach each corner in a day and full of beauty and diversity.
Go now, this coming week. Go for a day if you must; better go for two or three. But do go NOW. Spring has come maybe a couple of weeks later on Exmoor and the predominately Beech hedges are unforgettable.
I have just come back from 3 days on the moor and I will try and find a few images to put on the Gallery that come close to doing justice; but don’t wait for that, go and see it for yourself.
If you are lucky you may find that the Raleigh’s Cross Inn has a spare room at a special rate; I recommend it.
If you go and are disappointed…….there is something seriously wrong with you…..or me!
