Profile: I am lucky to have been around long enough to have acquired a free television licence; and with enough ‘marbles’ left to spend rather longer in front of a computer screen than the other sort. After a lifetime of taking ‘photos with varying degrees of seriousness, things changed when I joined BFCC in 2006. I now have the benefit of appraisal of my photographic efforts, the encouragement of those more skilled and perceptive than I am, and the friendships acquired along the way. Who could ask for more? My camera is a Nikon D3, most often used with a 70-200 VR 2.8 lens that I would rather go without socks than have to give up!
