The club aims to run a couple of courses, starting in January, comprising two sets of six evening sessions. The first, about using a digital camera for the first time, and the follow-up to show simple computer imaging using Adobe Photoshop Elements version 5.
The Camera Course takes place in the Clubhouse on Thursday evenings, from 7.30pm to 10.00pm, and is open to anyone who wants to learn more about how digital cameras work and how to use the camera in practical situations.
The Elements Course is best learned with students sitting in front of a computer and following the tuition on screen. The exercises can be practised at home on students’ own computers by use of a CD with all the course details provided free. Earlier this year BFCC teamed up with The Blandford School, using one of their Computer Suites for this Course, and hope to continue this practice for future courses.
The cost will be in the region of £30 for six sessions (Free to Club members).
